Last weekend we were returning from visiting grandpa. On the way home we decided to stop by Wal-Mart and pick up a few things. Of course, our girls headed right for the samples they were giving away. I assumed they just wanted the little cups. How prophetic I was.
They played with them all the way home. They thought it was most amusing to suck on them, creating a vacuum effect, and stick them to their face. Being the superb parents we are we just thought it was terrific how quiet they were being. Little did we know that Alexis had opted to leave hers on her lips and chin for an extended period of time.
When we arrived home we got a good look at her and were stunned. It looked as if she had been savagely attacked by a maniac carrying a collagen needle. Her lips were huge, and her chin was turning a brilliant shade of purple.
Of course, being the extremely caring and compassionate parents we are, we just had to force her to stand there while we took pictures that we can now pull out at the most inopportune times in hopes of causing embarrassment and (according to seth) chase away any would-be boyfriends that may come her way.
